The Best iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max deals in the UK

Apple has announced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, and the networks have started listing them. Those two are the only iPhone 18 models you can order today, so they are what this page is about. It tracks the cheapest way to get each of them on contract in the UK - ranked by what the deal actually costs you across the full term, not by the headline monthly price.

Prices around a launch move quickly, so we re-check every deal on this page three times a day through launch week, then daily after that. The timestamp under the table tells you exactly when we last looked.

1. The Best iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Deals Right Now

The Pro Max premium is all in the upfront

Both handsets sit on the same iD Mobile tariff this week: 100GB of data, unlimited mins and texts, £29.99 a month over 24 months. The only thing separating them is what you hand over on day one — £549 for the Pro against £639 for the Pro Max. That is a flat £90 for the larger screen and battery, with nothing added to the monthly bill.

The best deal on each network

Every iPhone 18 deal on our site runs over 24 months at the moment — no 12 or 36-month options have appeared yet. Note that Talkmobile is the odd one out below: its cheapest deal carries 15GB rather than 100GB, so it is not quite like for like.

The order is the same on both handsets: iD Mobile is cheapest, then O2, Vodafone, Talkmobile and Three. The gap between the cheapest and dearest network is £112.24 on the Pro and £106.24 on the Pro Max — worth a look before you settle on coverage.

Want a low upfront cost?

If £549 on day one is the sticking point, iD Mobile has the same 100GB allowance on the Pro for £29 upfront at £56.99 a month, which comes to £1,396.76 over the 24 months. You pay £128 more in total to spread the cost rather than front it.

And if you want unlimited data

Unlimited data holds the same £29.99 a month on both handsets and adds just £40 to the upfront: £1,308.76 all in for the Pro, £1,398.76 for the Pro Max. At that sort of gap it is worth a look even if 100GB would have covered you.

2. How We Pick These Deals

Most deal tables sort by monthly price, which is the number that looks best in an advert and tells you the least. A £14.99 a month contract with £279 to pay up front costs you more over two years than a £25.99 one with £29 up front, even though the first looks cheaper at a glance.

So we add it all up - every monthly payment plus whatever you hand over on day one - and rank by that total. It is the only number that tells you what the phone genuinely costs. Where a deal wins on total cost but has an awkward up-front payment, we say so.

3. iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max

Apple announced both Pro models on 9 September. Pre-orders opened at 1pm on Saturday 12 September, and they go on sale on Friday 18 September.

The Pro starts at £1,199 for 256GB, then £1,399 for 512GB, £1,799 for 1TB and £2,399 for 2TB. The Pro Max is £100 more at every tier — £1,299, £1,499, £1,899 and £2,499. That is £100 more than the equivalent iPhone 17 Pro at launch, and the gap widens at the larger sizes.

The camera is where the real change is. All three rear lenses are now 48MP, and the main one gets a variable aperture that runs from f/1.48 to f/4, which gives you a genuine depth-of-field control rather than a simulated one. The 4x telephoto extends to an 8x option, for a 16x optical-quality range across the system.

One thing worth knowing if you have read otherwise: UK handsets keep the nano-SIM tray. Apple is selling eSIM-only versions in the US and a handful of other markets, but Britain is not one of them.

4. Coming in October: the iPhone Duo, Apple's First Folding iPhone

It is called the iPhone Duo. UK prices start at £1,999 for 256GB, rising to £2,199 for 512GB, £2,599 for 1TB and £3,199 for 2TB. Pre-orders open at 1pm on Friday 16 October and it goes on sale on Friday 23 October, about five weeks behind the Pro models.

It has a 7.6in inner display with a nano-texture finish and a 5.4in outer display, both Super Retina XDR OLED with 120Hz ProMotion. Inside is the same A20 Pro chip as the Pro models, wrapped in a grade 5 titanium frame with a hinge Apple says runs to more than a hundred components. Two batteries, one in each half, give up to 31 hours of video on the inner screen. It comes in Star White and Night Sky.

Apple's first foldable is the headline act, and the most expensive iPhone the company has ever sold. You cannot order one yet, though - pre-orders are still a month off - so there are no Duo contract deals to compare in the table above. We will add them as soon as there are. Launch-year foldables rarely get generous contract pricing, so the total cost will be worth watching closely.

5. The Standard iPhone 18 Is Not Out Until Spring 2027

Apple split this generation across two launches. The standard iPhone 18, the 18e and a new iPhone Air are expected in spring 2027 rather than this autumn.

6. Should You Buy Now, or Wait?

Launch-week pricing is rarely the best pricing. Networks tend to sharpen their offers a few weeks in, once the initial rush has passed and they can see what rivals are doing. If you can wait a month, you will usually do better.

If you are already out of contract and paying for a phone you own outright, that maths flips - you are losing money every month you delay. A SIM only deal is usually the cheapest way to bridge a few weeks.

Either way, this page will keep pace with the market. We check it several times a day precisely because a figure that was right yesterday often is not right today.
