Galaxy AI Features
The A36 includes a curated selection of Samsung's "Galaxy AI" features, bringing a taste of the flagship experience to the mid-range. This includes useful tools like "Circle to Search with Google" and AI-powered photo editing features such as "Object Eraser" and "Edit Suggestions.
Vibrant 120Hz Super AMOLED Display
The A36 sports a large and bright 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This screen not only offers vibrant colors and deep blacks but also has a peak brightness of 1200 nits, making it very easy to use in direct sunlight
Long Term Software Support
This is a major differentiator. The Galaxy A36 comes with an exceptional software commitment from Samsung: six years of major OS upgrades and security updates. This is a level of support that was once exclusive to flagship phones, ensuring the A36 remains secure and relevant for a very long time
P67 Water And Dust Resistance
Following the trend of its predecessor, the A36 has a certified IP67 rating. This means it is protected from dust and can be submerged in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, providing a high level of durability and peace of mind
Upgraded Camera System
The A36 features a versatile camera setup. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which helps to produce sharp, clear photos and stable videos even in challenging conditions. The front camera also received an upgrade, now a 12MP HDR selfie camera.
Fast Charging
The Galaxy A36 supports 45W Super Fast Charging, a feature that was previously reserved for Samsung's high-end S-series and some M-series phones. This allows the large 5,000 MAh battery to be topped up very quickly, a significant convenience for daily use
