All the features you want.
From brilliant displays to powerful performance, explore the features that make this phone a great choice.
Flex Window Cover Screen
The external display is enlarged to a massive 3.4 inches, transforming it from a small notification ticker to a fully functional mini-screen. Users can reply to messages with a full QWERTY keyboard, check notifications, use widgets, and even run a select number of full apps without opening the phone
Gapless Hinge
Similar to its larger sibling, the Z Fold 5, the Z Flip 5 features a redesigned "Flex Hinge" that allows the phone to fold completely flat. This eliminates the wedge-shaped gap seen on previous Flip models, making the device thinner when folded and offering better protection for the inner screen from dust and debris
Powerful Performance
The Z Flip 5 is equipped with the same flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor as the Galaxy S23 series. This gives it a significant performance boost over the previous generation, ensuring smooth and responsive performance for apps, games, and multitasking
IPX8 Water Resistance
Like the Z Fold 5, the Z Flip 5 maintains a high level of water resistance with an IPX8 rating. This means the phone can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, a crucial durability feature for a phone with so many moving parts.
Enhanced Durability
Beyond the IP rating and new hinge, the Z Flip 5 is built with a tougher "Armor Aluminium" frame and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the cover screen and back. Samsung also states the new hinge was more durable, capable of withstanding hundreds of thousands of folds
FlexCam For Creative Photography
The unique folding form factor of the Z Flip 5 makes it an excellent tool for photography. Users can prop the phone up on a surface, half-folded, for hands-free selfies or group photos. The large cover screen also serves as a high-quality viewfinder, allowing you to use the more capable main cameras for taking selfies
