Vibrant Display
Features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel, which offered vibrant colours and deep blacks. The "Infinity-U" design featured a tiny water-drop notch, resulting in an impressive 85% screen-to-body ratio.
Camera System
The device featured a flexible triple-lens system: 25MP Main sensor for high-resolution daily shots. 8MP Ultra-Wide lens with a 123° field of view (matching the human eye). 5MP Depth sensor for "Live Focus" (portrait mode).
Battery
The A50 was built for "all-day" use with its 4,000mAh battery. It also supported 15W fast charging via USB-C.
Design
Samsung introduced a material called "Glasstic". A high-quality plastic designed to look and feel like glass. It featured a unique prism-like finish that reflected a rainbow gradient when caught by the light, giving it a premium aesthetic while remaining lightweight and durable.
Scene Optimiser
The A50 was among the first mid-rangers to use AI Scene Optimisation. Its camera software could recognise 20 different scenarios (like food, pets, or sunsets) and automatically adjust settings like saturation, white balance, and brightness to make every shot look professionally edited instantly.
