Key features.
S Pen Support
It was the first foldable to support the S Pen (specifically the S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro). This transformed the 7.6-inch internal display into a digital notebook for sketching, note-taking, and high-level multitasking.
Under-Display Camera
To provide an uninterrupted, "full-screen" viewing experience, Samsung hid the internal selfie camera under the display pixels. While visible under certain lighting, it removed the traditional punch-hole notch for more immersive media consumption.
Water Resistance
Along with the Flip3, this was the world’s first water-resistant foldable. It can withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes, significantly reducing the "fragility" concerns of earlier models.
Productivity
With the Snapdragon 888 chip and 12GB of RAM, the Fold3 introduced advanced multitasking features like the Taskbar (allowing for PC-like app switching) and Multi-Active Window, which lets you run up to three apps simultaneously on the main screen.
